:-/ * I am a new tier and am tying tellico nymphs using yellow rayon chenille for the body. I have tied 10's and 12's and am ready to go to 14's and 16's. The chenille I am using is too large for the smaller hooks. What would you suggest using for the body of smaller tellicos?

Hello Michael, there are many dubbings that you can use and you'll probably get several responses to you questions. If you're in LROs any time soon, get a pack of the Light Yellow Antron dubbing and try it. It is a Wapsi product. Good luck and let us know how it turned out as well as other types that you might use.Hugh Hartsell---East Tn. |

Yellow silk floss works well for smaller size Tellicos along with yellow rabbit dubbing. You can also do a variation on the traditional Tellico nymph using gold or golden stonefly color dubbing but, that usually works better in larger sizes.
