Good day on the Hiwassee
I got out to the Hiwassee and had a good day. The browns finally decided to start biting for me and I caught a bunch of the usual stocker bows also like this one
 The first brown hit around 5:00 PM or so and took a small GRHE...  After this guy, I caught lots more brownies including a nice 14 incher   Rainbows wanted a BHPT and browns the GRHE for the most part. Fish were holding mostly in the pocketwater and runs during the day and started rising in the pools near sundown. Saw some big fish today including one brown that tried to eat a 'bow I was haulin' in...  The poor rainbow virtually rolled over on it's side so I could pull it in and away from the brown.That was some funny stuff!!!David Knapp

Nice report and pics. I've been seeing a lot of those big browns this spring and I imagine when the water comes on they will be the terrors of the river.
