Default great day on Saturday

Dad and i finally got to go fishing . Between work, the baby and everything else it has been very difficult to find time for fishing. We ended up hiking about 10 miles and fishing all day. Between us we caught probably 50 fish, all were 6" - 8" with a few going to 10". 95% of the fish were rainbows but there were a couple of browns and 1 brookie. The fish were hungry, they would hit anything thrown at them. The best flies were yellow stimulators and pheasant tail soft hackles. The water was a little high on the main river, but we were fishing some smaller streams and they were just right. The company was good and the fishing was great, so overall it was a great day .
