Default Norris Dam, generation times...

I went up to the Clinch river just above the jail this weekend. I am not sure if the dam was generating, but the water seemed pretty low. My question is, the TVA website shows the generation times, but does not say when it stops generating?
How long does it take the water once it leaves the dam to reach the area near the jail?
When it stops generating, how long does it take the water to recede?

With one running it will take 5-6 hrs to get to the jail. With two running it will take 3-4hrs to get to the jail. Both times start at low flow. It will take 7-9 hrs for the water to go back down from un-wadeable flow. Try this link http://www.crctu.com/Drain_Down/clinch_drain.htm

Later.
