Default New to Board

Have been reading the board for a couple of months now and decided to join the discussions. LRO started my flyfishing journey about six years ago with the beginner school. We bought a place in Louisville and have been renovating(during the summers) for those 6 years. I fished the GSMNP and tidewater virginia freshwater lakes until June. Have located here permanently and am looking forward to fishing the park waters when it is less than 100% humidity, 90 degrees air temp and 65 degree water temp.

i live in scottsboro, al and try to make it to the elk every week or two. a friend and i floated a canoe from the dam to ferris creek last week, and counting stopping at the riffles and cooking lunch the trip took about 12 hours. the water rise from the one generator put online at 4 o'clock reached ferris creek at 7 o'clock. fishing was good early, slowed midday, then picked up again later in the afternoon.
