** Wedding band found on Hiawassee **

While fishing earlier this summer, I found a wedding band in the shoals near the dam on the Hiawassee River. Please describe and I'll make arrangements for you to get it back.

Howdy- Your post of finding a wedding band reminded me of a time i was fishing in Beaver Creek in N.E. Ohio. I was wading the edge looking for smallmouth. I happened to look down and saw a ring lying in several inches of water. It was from a local high school. I called the school and sent them the ring. Since the person's initials were still legible and the year (1976), they figured they could find the owner. About a month later I received a call from a man in Columbus Ohio. He had lost the ring while hiking along the creek-25 years ago! Good Luck.-Bob
