Went to the Anderson County jail area yesterday afternnoon. Began fishing at 1:30 pm and quit at 6:30 pm. Caught 13 Rainbows. Two were 12" and several 10 inch fish. I lost one in that darn rock snot (didymo). I got a flyer from Federation of Flyfishers raising money for an scientific program in learning how to control that stuff. It turns out that NZ has it bad. I sure hope something can be done. I got that stuff on my nymphs continously. It is a shame. I want to make sure that I clean my wading boots good. Does anyone know what the best treatment would be as not to spread the stuff?

Thanks for the report, I've been itching to get back to the Clinch for a while now. I haven't had a chance to fish it since early summer.

Griff!
Thanks for the link. I couldn't believe how much that didymo had spread. It is all over the river. |
