I spent 4-1/2 hours on Little River 10:00 to 2:30 fishing streamers and big nymphs and got skunked. I was chasing a big brown so didn't expect to catch many, but someone must have thought I needed an attutude adjustment. I told myself the full moon must have the fish feeding at night and not during the day......... Then I ran into a couple of guys who had been up higher fishing for brookies and they had done pretty well, ~20 fish between them. Guess is wasn't the moon, just the fisherman.......... or the rod.....or the fly.......... I don't like to get skunked! But it happens. You folks who come from out of town to fish a couple of times a year, know that we all get our hats handed to us once in a while.

With the help of Hans, I have gotten pretty good at catching Bows and Brookies throughout the park. I did well catching Browns over at Bradley fork a couple of weeks ago too. With that said, I still stink at catching Browns on the Little River. There are some folks that have it figured out, but I haven't figured out how to squeeze it out of them yet. Good luck next time!
