Smokys TN, NC
The smokys are in tennessee and north carolina. So I was wondering,( this is stupid) But is the fishing any better on the NC side? I have nevr fish over there and don't know a single stream. I know that the acid in the water changes.( I'v tested it.) This is one of my dumbest questions but I was just wondering. have any of you done better on one side than the other? I know some of you come from NC so tell me. Thanks.

Everyone knows that tennessee trout are the fearsist,fightenist, fish that ever swum a mountain stream!!! And I hear tell that those NC fish's DNA are altered so that those NC folk can have something to compete with! Ok, probably not entirely true but some of it has to be. Actually, both sides have something very special in-store for the angler that searches out "the perfect spot". I find both sides offer unique opportunities!! DryFly1

In my opinion, each and every Smokies stream has its own personality and special tendencies. I go to different streams depending on what type of water I want to fish, what species I prefer to target, what methods I feel like using for the day, etc... I don't think that some streams are necessarily better or worse than others, just different...

Tennessee of course, why go anywhere else. That is my personal opinon. I don't go over the mountain much anymore. I hear strange things happen to people over there. Be careful, don't go alone. Try not to spend the night. If you stay over there to long you may turn into an ACC fan. God help you.

I rekin I like to fish up air on Rocky Top. If you aint fermilir thats on the Tennessee side.

WoW! I love watching the NC and TN talk he he I made a TN,NC revolution keep going guys. WHICH SIDE IS BETTER! TN OR NC WHICH HAS BETTER FISH< TN OR NC. WHICH ARE BETTERFISHERMEN TN OR NC!!!

sorry I just got real excited when everyone started saying who was better it was just fun  No books yet but I have found them and coparring prices.I just love a good debate and I got a FF one going and that was cool!!!! Plus I had alot of candy  I loved that debate and it doesen't have to end unless you guys want it to. Giantfish
