Default Sequatchie River

Has anyone ever fished the Sequatchie River off old Hwy 28 in Cumberland Co.? I think I've read that the TWRA stocks it.
Didn't know if it has any hold overs or if it's just a take out river.
My parents live in that neck of the woods and you can only eat so many hotdogs and hamburgers when you visit before you have to go do something.
Thanks and take care.

I have fished the stram before in later winter to early spring. It is stocked and there is access to it of the road. It is tight in some spots but all you will see are cows. The flys i caught fish on were a prince and a zug bug. you can go to the twra web site to see when they stock the stream. The water gets to warm in the summmer to support year around fish (i Think). Another river on the west side of the platue the calfkiller.

have fun

Patrick
