Default See you all around thanksgiving (Abrams info?)

I just wanted to say that I'll see you all soon in a week or so. Anybody know how Abrams has been fishing?

I've fished it a few times and its usually a spot I head to at least once a trip. I've never fished it so late in the season though. It maybe a welcome reprieve from the family after being couped up a couple of days.

Thanks again LRO for being the best!

Dude

Dude, Abrams can be a great cool weather option. Because the stream flows underground through much of the cove, it is basically a spring creek and at least the upper portion near the trailhead can be warmer than other park streams. I believe I remember a good report from there last winter that mentioned doing well on George nymphs. Midges and maybe BWOs (if it has been warm) will be important also. I can usually find a few fish that will eat small GRHE's...

When making your plans. Remember to allow for the lower amount of daylight that time of the year(:>). Best fishing should be midday. Be careful wading, a slip means a cold walk out.
