Welcome to the dark side....... if this is your first cane rod it won't be your last .....unfortunately. I was going to try just one..... now I'm embarassed to say how many I've got.

We will be gathering in Townsend the weekend of 20-22 April for the Annual Cane Fish In. Lots of Bamboo nuts from around the country with lots of rods to try. Jim Bresko may be there with a trunk load of rods for sale, as well as others with a few here and there. For the most part, a time to get together, tell lies, cast rods, and hopefully catch fish.

We normally HQ there at LRO.

Hellow Ralph and Larry,

Larry, a rod made by Walter Babb is as good as you can get. I fished with mine the first time with Walter, Brian Courtney and Jim Evans on Whitetop Laurel in Virginia. We were all fishing with Walter Babb rods on that trip. You'll be very happy.
