Default Fly pictures for tying

Like many of you with cabin fever I have been tying flies and thinking about weather when I will be able to use them. When I tie I not only need the instructions but I like a really good picture of the finished fly. While I have several books on tying, the best pictures I have found of the finished fly are those in the LRO Online Catalog. These are just great and when you scroll down there is a very large blowup that is perfect. The photography is perfect. I print out the picture and hang it at my tying desk while tying that fly. It is a great help. And I think it only fair that I buy my tying materials from LRO.

Quite frankly, if I could I'd buy my groceries from LRO... Actually I've often wished they had gatorade and powerbars. It would save me a second stop on my way into the park... Little river village treats me pretty well too, so I don't mind spending a few bucks with them too...

Thanks guys,

Our goal is to have our 600 patterns on the site with the two photos and a description including any history that we can find. Daniel ordered a book on the history of flies to use as a reference. Upon completion and when we get caught up we plan to go back and list the materials used to tie the fly. I have shot 180 of the flies so far and we plan to get a lot done next week. We feel we will not only sell a lot of flies on this site but it will be an excellent reference for fly tyers as well. I've enjoyed the photography part of it. I've been shooting pictures of flies on a regular bases for several years for fly tying school books. But with the latest equipment and software, it's a heck of a lot easier than it was five years ago.
