Default Cosby Creek

Does any one know were they stock Cosby creek outside the park?

Default Cosby Creek

Sivad, the stocking usually takes place from the bridge that Hwy321 crosses over Cosby Creek to Wilton Springs road--to about where the hwy turns right to go to Gatlinburg. ( just before the middle school ). Most of the trout are wild from that point on. There are numerous pulloffs that they dump trout into the creek from as you follow it thru the Cosby community. They also go up the lower part of Indian Camp Creek for about 2 miles. There are lots of pulloffs on both roads.

Thanks for the info. What types of fly's are good for this section of stream?

Default Cosby Creek

Sivad, try Parachute Adams or Elk Hair Caddis in #14-16 for dry flies and weighted Goldribbed Hares ear or PTnymphs for down deep. If you're going soon, use plenty of weight.
