I have been doing this FFing thing for going on 7yrs and still quite often "HOOT" loudly when a fish is on! Enjoy the moment! Fish on grasshopper...

Way to go!

I've been flyfishing for ...wow...18 years! Holy moly, I feel old now.
Anyhoot, I still remember the first fish( a 9 inch wild rainbow from a small, freestone stream in North Georgia) like it was yesterday. I remember how bright it was, and how dark the valley was, and how the forest smelled and how on the long hike out I didn't care that my calves were burning and I was about to drop.
