Default Caney Fork Wednesday

Fished the Caney Fork up near the dam today. Perfect day to be out on the water, despite some wind that came in later in teh afternoon.

Started out using a zebra midge dropped below a parachute adams but didn't catch a thing. So I switched to a pheasant tail, scud, prince...nothing. The fish were all checking out my fly, but NONE were taking it. About 12:30 it really warmed up, and I began to see quite a few bugs. Trout were surface feeding all around me. Put on a size 20 bwo just to see what would happen and, MAN, trout went crazy! For about 30-40 mins they tore up this little fly. Then it all stopped. Trout were still surfacing, but nothing was going for my fly. Tied on an EHC but nothing happened. Strange day on the water, to say the least.

Here is a pic I took of one of the bugs that landed on me. It's really out of focus, but maybe someone can tell what it is. Looks like maybe a caddis...is that possible?
