Alignment Dots .. ..
Temple Fork uses alignment dots on their rods. This is a super idea. I have Sage and St. Croix, G. Loomis rods, all of which have no alignment dots until I put them on. These alignment dots speed up the assembly of your rod at your favorite fishing hole. The following is my recipe:
Put your rods together making sure all guides are aligned. Clean rod where ferrules are joined with alcohol and dry with paper towel. Painter's fine opaque paint markers can be purchased at Wal-Mart. ( I use white or yellow) Follow directions on paint markers. Shake well and start paint flowing on paper. Hold marker verticle and touch marker about 1/8 of an inch on each side where ferrules join and make a small dot. Let dry. You never have to sight down the rod again to align the guides.

How are the temple fork rods? I messed around with a 2 weight at bass pro yesterday and it felt great! I'd be lying if i said i wasn't thinking about getting one, but as swipper says, why do i need another rod?

I thought I clicked on post, but maybe not...
I've got a 7'6" 4 wt. Lefty Kreh signature series that is quickly becoming my "go to" rod. I love it! Right now I've got it overlined with w RIO 5 wt. pocket water line and it is both accurate and delicate. And, yes, the alignment dots are a real plus. So much so that Iplan on putting alignment dots on my other rods as well. Gerry

I borrowed my daughter's nail polish, put them on with a pin head, it worked & i couldn't resist doing my toe nails either, kind of embarrassing when you wet wade with sandals
 I ought to try that next time. Grumpy
