Tuckasegee River

Has anyone fished this river lately? Thinking about going over in a couple of weeks and trying some water in that area. Generation info would be nice as well.

You might try calling Roger Lowe over in Waynesvilles, NC. He guides over there quite a bit. I'm sure he would be glad to offer up any info you need. I haven't heard any reports since back during the winter. Guess since Gas prices are skyrocketing, everyone is staying closer to home around here. I have been.

Ditto on the gas prices. I've got a whole week off after this next one and I'm trying to decide how far I really want to drive. I actually had a trip to the White river in Arkansas planned but it may be just me going so I would have to foot the whole bill. Makes a big difference. Thanks for the advice. I will contact Roger.

You might check R & R Flyfishing's site, they guide over there a fair amount.
See what they have been catching. If you go, and you wade, report back. I want to know where to fish it. I have driven past it many times between Robbinsville and Dillsboro, never fished it though.
