Not sure if this helps or not, not much on fishing stillwaters, but talking to relatives in upstate NY, Adirondacks, the adams and light cahills are hot right now in about size 18 on the streams.

I live about an hour from Acadia. Are you fishing the streams or the ponds? Right now, look to Hendricksons, 14-16 caddis, red brassies, ants, and midges, both dry and nymph. Be sure to have some Hexagenia patterns on you, just in case. It should be too early for them, but you never know.

If you want to get in some fishing off of the island, let me know. There's a few nice streams within an hour of the park.
