New Zealand FFishing
Invited to participate in a fly fishing excursion to the North Island of New Zealand in late December. This will require significant effort to alter schedules, gather necessary revenue and obtain spousal approval.
If anyone can provide personal experience and/or advice it will be greatly appreciated. Those elements that make it seem absolutely necessary to ones well being will be used to convince significant "family" member. Thanks,

NZ Response
Just returned from the aforementioned trip to New Zealand. Had a great time fishing the Whirinaki (pronounced Fear-a-na-ki) River in a remote area of the North Island. Beautiful, clear, easily waded river similar to the Little R if it were located in a jungle. Outstanding nymphing, no rises!
Oh! Yeah. It's summer in NZ. Very inexpensive AFTER you get there. $0.75 US = $1.00 NZ$. People very friendly and extremely helpful. LRO was very helpful in helping me obtain the necessary gear. Thanks. Pictures when I figure out how to add them. Pedipop
