Default Cup Of Tarpon Death~byron!!!

I forgot how fun it is to spin deer hair! I got a little over zealous with what I bought today! Had fun messing up the entire down stairs of my house with black marabou! It's floating around everywhere! Any who here's the pics and thanks again Byron!

WITH BOUYANCY!

WITH LITTLE BOUYANCY!

LOOK AT THAT PRETTY LITTLE FACE!

Wished I would have snatched up some purple closed cell foam now! Oh well, I think that's reasoning enought to go to the fly shop the second we get there!

Thanks again!
Brett

Nice looking fly! I tie some buggers for smallies using those color combos. You should try them out on a sinktip over on the LR. You might be surprised!

Great job on the flies. The pattern is a Cathead and we've jumped a lot of tarpon on them. The sample I gave you was tied by Jack Gregory. Yours look perfect. Good luck on your trip.

Nice looking flies. A pattern similar to that is a killer for babies down here and big fish early in the morning, especially in the Everglades. Nothing like seeing a huge fish erupt below the fly in an effort to inhale it, certainly a vision that sticks with you. Just resist the temptation to "trout set" and you'll be o.k.

Looks good, but it is even better with wide splayed hackle.
