Oustanding Fishing Report

I thought todays fishing report was exceptional. Not because the report said
that fishing is great, but because you had the integrity to not sugarcoat the
status of fishing right now. Your report made it clear that fishing would be
difficult at best, and catching trout in these low water, heat wave conditions
could be harmful to the fish. This report was made with a complete
understanding that a bad fishing report isn't good for your business. It is
refreshing to see such honesty these days.

I have a 4 1/2 hour drive just to get to Townsend, so I appreciate an
honest appraisal of the calibre of fishing to be had in the smokies. I am
eagerly awaiting the wonderful cool down of fall that is only a few weeks
away, and will be keeping a close check on your fishing report. When the
cooler weather turns the fishing back to good, I will make a long weekend
trip to the fair city of Townsend. I will definitely stop in your excellent fly
shop, to get stocked up on the "hot" flies.

Even before relevance of the message board, the staff at LRO and Byron's fishing reports gave a no frills accessment of the smokies fishing status. Honesty! That is, for a lack of a better term, a breath of fresh air! I love just getting up there to spend some time and story tell!
