Default The Hiwassee is COLD!

A great fishing report as usual by Byron today - I can echo Rockys earlier comment on water temps at the Hi. My personal experience over the last few weeks is that the Hi is UNSEASONABLY cold. It's been a welcome surprise every time I wade, and nobody seems to be able to tell us why temps are staying so low. We aint gonna look that gift horse in the mouth - I vote with Byron and say let's let the streams rest and hit the tailwaters. Don't hesitate to fish the Hiwassee right now, it's in much better shape than has been rumored.

Canyon,

Thanks for the post. I haven't heard much about the Hiwassee lately. Rocky has been saying all summer it has been fishing well and the water temperature great. I'm glad it is holding up.

Byron
