Kewl....maybe Byron could do a weekly fishing show on one of the channels; there's a guy down here who goes out every week in a different area of coastal Louisiana, with a guide, and they discuss what they're hitting on, etc, along with them swinging a few fish aboard.

Wink Wow!

And the Oscar goes to:

Byron Begley for his performance in the Knoxville news feature regarding trout stress.

Bryon, watch out for the Paparazzi!

Nice work Byron!!

I also like the little bit at the end that Robin Wilhoit said about the tailwaters...it almost doesn't sound like Byron wrote that for her

Nice work Byron. You might have to make the front doors bigger to get your "puffed up image" through. Ha. Ha. Thanks for telling it like it is.

Thanks guys,

I was afraid to watch it but it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would. During the filming my left eye started twitching, I mean REALLY twitching. I guess they were able to edit that out. I appreciate your support.

As to one comment about hosting a TV fishing show I must say the following: "I lack the skill, looks and intestinal fortitude for that kind of work."
Hey Byron...this was the guy I was talking about in my earlier post...now, you tell me you can't give this guy a run for his money in the looks department?

Actually, he's a pretty funny guy. He was a Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries officer a long while back, then he had an outdoors program on the radio, then he moved to TV....now he does the fishing report gig on Thursdays, and "soft pieces" on other days about New Orleans culture, etc...

Just swap a New Orleans "yat" accent for a Kentucky one...and, a star is born!

Here's a link to his latest fishing report:
