Default Tailwater Fishing in Indiana

My son and I have made a few trips to the Brookville lake tailwaters this summer. Below are a few pics from a couple of our trips. Nothing like the hogs the guys out west caught, but we had a good time.

If you look closely at the photo of me, you'll notice I'm wearing gym shoes with my waders. I got all the way there about an hour drive, and realized my wading boots were on the garage floor just where I left them. Fortunately, the water there is not too deep and the current not too swift. Footing was a little uneasy, but even if I did take a spill, the deepest hole we fished was about thigh deep and the current slow so even if I took a spill, not much more than my pride would have been hurt. I'm happy to report my hat and vest stayed dry
