The LOL Conundrum
OK, I'm feeling really dense. I have struggled for four months on the board now with trying to figure out what LOL stands for. I racked my brain, thinking of:
Lick Our Lines Little Old Ladies Lips of Love Lilliputions on Loan Lots of Lint (or Lard) About 10:30 tonight in Kroger (real exciting life here) it hit me. Somebody please tell me that LOL means Laugh Out Loud and put my mind at ease. I'm usually much better at figuring out stuff like this but I had a king size mental block on this one. Confirmation, please?

I too struggled with the meanings of various chat speak acronyms. Someone told me about the urban dictionary, which can be found at http://www.urbandictionary.com/ I found it to be helpful, if not a bit disturbing what kids are saying these days. LOL is Laughing out loud. Paula

I have always seen it ROFLMAO. It means Rolling On Floor Laughing My A** Off.
 I guess the ROTFLMAO inserts a "the" in there.  Paula
