Didymo sort of lookes like olive paper floating in the water yet it's stationary.
Nasty stuff, though its already been said, please wash waders and boots so you don't transfer them.

Its quite alarming in my opinion.

I vacationed in the New England this summer and its been found up there as well.
Since that trip I've bought a second set of wading boots with aquasteath soles and alternate boots with a thorough cleaning of all my gear between trips out.
