Hilton Head area opportunities - please advise

Praise the Lord for a few days of vacation! Heading towards Hilton Head on Sept. 21st for a few days and was wondering if anyone knows of a convienent spot to wade & sling a fly for a while? I've no experience with costal waterway fishing at all so no idea of what type of fish are there and what they would take. Any info would be helpful and appreciated.

Paula and I have fished there for redfish. It is an excellent fishery. Call Low Country Outfitters. You will get some good information from them and you may decide to hire a guide for a day. They can help you there too. You can also rent a kayak. Watch out for the gators though.

As far is inshore fishing goes the redfish are at their best this time of year. I'm about to head down that way myself pretty soon. I definitely recommend getting a guide for at least half a day.
