I have always worn felt sole boots and they do fine on rocks and have become comfortable with them.
After reading several articles on the spreading didymo I realizing that felt sole boots would make an ideal way to accidentally spread it around. Hard to get completely dry and porous I am sure the algae could live quite some time in the felt. So dose any one have a suggestion for alternative materials that offer the traction on rocks that the felt does? |

The standard recommendation is to soak your boots in a bleach solution (10%?)
