Smile Remembering good times past

I was introduced to fly fishing by my gradfather when I was about five years old. I remeber going to a small creek on my greatgrand parents farm with him and watching him throw fly he had tied toward a stump for what seemed like an hour. Finally the bass hit and the bamboo rod bent double. He landed what I thought must surely have been the biggest bass in Alabama. My grandfther died the next year and I never got to go with him again, but he hooked a small boy on flyfishing and I neven wade into the creek on my farm in north Alabama that I don't remember that day fifty or so years ago.I still have his Wright- Mcgill Bamboo Rod and some of the files he tied but most of all I have that memory.
