As my 75 year old buddy in Maine says....."Something to do" on a beautiful night in TN with great friends...#15 pound striper on 8wt. TFO (thanks Byron and Paula) and a 1/0 Gray and White CC. That's a Campbell Clauser. I think Dean's are better than Bob Clausers.

That's a great fish! Is it worth fishing from shore below the dams such as at Watts Bar? I travel through that area going home from school and back all the time and have thought about ripping some streamers from shore just to see what would bite...

Plat.
I am not sure about Watts Bar. I believe someone wrote earlier about wading around there. You could certainly do Melton Hill or Loudon from shore if you could get some room to cast. Of course I would suggest doing it with the water off, in order to get your fly down. Occationally they bust the surface generating but think you would have a tough time getting a Crease fly big enough that could compete with a big Zaraspook. You just need to call me sometime and we will go.
