Default New Gear 11/09/07

New gear is beginning to arrive!!

We just got a box with three of the new Orvis ZG Helios rods!
They are truly incredible. The 9' 8wt 4pc weighs an astonishing 2 7/8oz!
These are the limited edition rods. The reel seats are gold and each rod is numbered.
Currently we have:
8'6" 5wt 4pc.
9' 5wt 4pc.
9' 8wt 4pc.
These are some of the best Orvis rods I've cast.

Several of the new SAGE ZXL rods are here also!
We have:
7'6" 3wt 4pc
8' 4wt 4pc
8'6" 5wt 4pc.
These rods are super sweet. They have a great moderate action. Perfect for mountain streams, but they won't be outgunned on bigger water also.

Some of the new Fishpond items have started to arrive. We have the new Avalanche Lunch boxes, the Bumpy Road Duffles, Southern Cross Journals, the Firefly Womens vest, and more to arrive any time.

From TFO we just got the new Finesse 6'9" 1wt 4pc rod. This rod is very light and super sweet. It'll be a ton of fun to fish for the rainbows and brookies in the small streams.

Stop by and check out all the new stuff and take some time to cast a few rods!!

REMEMBER: We are open till 8pm on every Friday night!!

Daniel

I have a Sage SLT 7'6" 3wt that I got to fish in the park this weekend up at Greenbriar. It is a sweet rod. The new ZXL is, from what I've read, a very nice rod indeed.

If anyone's looking for a nice rod for the mountains, that 7'6" 3wt Sage should be very tempting.
