Default Spinning in the Smokies

When I was spin fishing in the Smokies, I had my best luck with a black 1/24 or 1/16 oz. Rooster Tail. Caught a really big brown in Little River throwing the RT right at the base of a spill in the foam. He hit it as soon as it hit the water.

Friend of mine went spin fishing off the Quiet Walkways above Sugarlands earlier this year and did quite well. However, there was more water then than there is now. Don't know what kind of luck you would have now.
