I'd like to see the price of gas drop so I could actually afford to drive down a few extra times a year, and sunglasses that don't fog at the worst possible time.

Dear Santa,

For Christmas I would like to ask for:

a. Peace on Earth
b. Lots of rain
c. A new Bose sound system that I can hook up to my Mac here at work and listen to Pink Floyd or the Eagles in iTunes.

If I can only get one gift I'll take the Peace. If I can get two, I'll take the rain.

Byron

I wish for:

- Health and happiness for friends and family
- Good weather and a calm hurricane season '08

I've got fishing gear coming out of my ears, so selfishly I don't want anything on that front.

Santa would have a really hard time getting it down the chimney, but a nice tent trailer would make those late night arrivals to campgrounds a lot quieter and I could get in bed alot quicker.

So far you've got me. How about a hint.

Early double album by Pink Floyd, about'69. Sorry about that. Couldn't help myself. Great album title. You can get the 8Track for your Bose. It ain't easy for a young mind in middle age body. For Christmas I just want some fishing time in East Tenn. More than anything real peace even among the least likely characters.

Default Pink Floyd

Byron,

I am a bit of a Pink Floyd fan so I thought I would pass on the following info about the album that Monktrout mentioned.

The actual spelling of the Pink Floyd album is Ummagumma and it is an excellent album. My favorite track being "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict".

"Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict" is a track written and performed by Roger Waters from the two-part 1969 Pink Floyd album, Ummagumma.
The track consists of several minutes of noises resembling rodents and birds simulated by Roger Waters' voice played at different speeds; followed by Waters providing a few stanzas of quasi-lyrics in a thick Scottish accent.
The Picts were the indigenous people of what is now Scotland that merged with the Scots.
There is a "hidden message" in the song at approximately 4:34. If played at a slower speed, Waters [1][2] or guitarist David Gilmour[3] can be heard to say, "That was pretty avant-garde, wasn't it?".(sample (help·info)) It is thought by some that the high-pitched squeaking which is repeated every couple of seconds from about 1:30 to about 2:10 is Waters saying, "Bring back my guitar" sped up by a factor of 10.

Just a little trivia for a cold winter day.
