Does anyone know of a website (or book) that has a hook conversion chart (i.e., a chart that converts a certain hook of one brand to another brand allowing you to substitute similiar hooks when tying)?
This type of chart is especially helpful when you can't find a certain hook in one brand, but need a comparable hook in order to tie a certain fly. I found one a few years ago and I had a printout from that site, but can't find it on the web any longer and I have lost the printout. |

Go the the Hook and Hackle web site. They have a good one. Or just Google one up. They are not difficult to locate. |

Here is the one I use. I don't go crazy over trying to find just the right hook though. I just try to match the hook to the approximate size of the natural.
