I am just starting fly tying and was wondering if anyone knew of a good website with either video tutorials or normal turtorials for tying various nymphs or dry flies.

I have found myself scrolling back in this forum to older posts. There are some great websites that have been suggested. Take a look back at the oldies.
Good luck and if you get a chance if you need to try and get in to one of the tying classes. I am looking forward to the intermediate class on the 19th. -Ben |

There used to be a great website for beginners at tie1on.net. A local smokies guy kept up the website and it had quite a few smokies variations to patterns on it. There were also quite a few detailed animations great for beginners. Does anyone know what happened to this site? Has it moved to another web address?

there are some great tutorials on Hugh's site at:
http://www.smokymountainflyguide.com/ I would also suggest LRO's beginner tying class (I believe there is one in Feb.) These classes are hard to beat...... buckeyetrouter

Try this one: http://www.maineflyfish.com/flytying...ie/brassie.htm
I'd really just recommend googling the name of a fly you're interested in. You'll probably find multiple sites for most any fly. Google is your friend! sb
