Today's fishing report hit home for me today. one of my resonsiblities for our company is to schedule our designers. The software company we are currently for scheduling is free because we use their design software. When i approached them about what we wanted they were all excited because we were the first company to really use the software in this manner. Long story short every change we have asked for has created more bugs than fixes and the company is really slow to respond. So far, as of right now, we are looking at buying a very expensive (for a small company) $60,000 start up fee and $45,000 a year. But what impressed me the most is that so far a $60 million dollar company is being treated the same as a Billion dollar company. We can always get hold of tech support (that speak ENGLISH) anytime we have a question. In the Building Bussiness scheduling to meet the builders demand is mre important than price. Why am I willing to spend the extra money when I can something for free? Customer service! why do I buy most of my flyfishing supplies from LRO and other small shops? Customer service. Why is my company the only company Growing in this housing slump (a little down turn the past two months)? Customer service.
