No wading today boys and girls. I took these at 11:00 this morning 01/11/08.

considering all last summer the reports were "not enough water" it's somehow comforting to hear a report of "too much water". Thanks for sharing the photos.

I wonder if the beaver dam at the April Pool made it through this mini-flood? Anyone checked it out? We are all betting here at the shop that it won't make it through Spring. Those are going to be some very disapointed critters if that dam breaches.

it is in sad shape...i was there earlier this week....still holding, but giving water over the top.

I've heard the beavers have a lodge in the pool but I have not noticed it. They have worked so hard all year long. If the dam holds and they build it higher we'll have to worry about bass boats and jet skis in the Little River. And, the Park Service will have to build a launching ramp. It will blow out this Spring.

The dam up on Abrams was still holdin pretty good Saturday but I don't believe that one got as much rain. The several dams around the house on the little creeks got washed out. I would bet it didn't make it.
