here are a few shots from the lunar eclipse this week using a Nikon D50 with a 300mm zoom and a 2x teleconverter to get the party started....

Those are some nice pics, buckeye. I think the photography forum would get hit pretty heavy, i know i would be posting alot because there is alot to understand. Nothing aggrevates me worse than to take a picture out on the stream only to come back home and upload it and it's blurry or messed up some other way. I'm sure there are many more experienced photographers on here that could help troubleshoot and fix problems that some of us have. It would be a great place to share tips to help ensure that a bad picture isn't taken when you hook that nice fish.

I will throw in my vote for the photography section. However, I don't often take pictures of fish, not good enough at catching them to worry about taking ones picture.

My posts are worthless without pictures

The photography forum interests me more than the rod building forum. The only reason is that I take photos and would enjoy a place to share ideas. I do not build rods (do not need another hoby) so I would get little use from it.

I know a lot of guys here are rod builders and I wouldn't want my personal preference to deny them a place to chat about rod building.
