I have a 2 1/2 year old son who loves to pretend fish in the yard, and goes bonkers when we get to the rivers or lakes.
This summer I would like to take him panfishing on the lakes to get him used to fishing. Where would be a good place with a little shoreline or dock to take him fishing? I would take him to the rivers if there was a good location for him to stand and not slip on a rock or drop off into a deeper hole. I live in South Knox, and can go anywhere in the area. Thanks for the help, Ben |

I'm not sure how the fishing is, but there's a nice fishing pier near Concord Park Marina on Ft. Loudoun Lake in West Knoxville. I used to drive past it often and would occasionally see people fishing from it.
