For around ten years we have been offering our customers, on Saturdays in the Winter, Free Fly Tying Demonstrations. Most of the exhibitors are from this area. They tie flies for four hours between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. We have chairs around the tables, we serve good coffee and it is just a great way to spend a Saturday during the winter. You can also relax by the fire and talk to your friends.

There are usually one or two people tying at different locations in the store so you can move around from station to station to see different techniques and hear fishing stories about the flies. It’s a good idea to stop by even if you don’t tie flies. Maybe you are thinking about learning to tie. You can see how it’s done and make a decision whether to tie or not.

There is one catch. If roads are bad due to the weather we may have to cancel one at the last minute. We don’t want the tyers or you to get hurt. If the roads seem questionable, just call the store or check this page on our website before you come. We hope you come spend a Saturday with us this winter. Or even better, come every Saturday.
