You've taken the beginner class and you've practiced those patterns. Now you are ready to move up to the intermediate status. Walter and Brian will guide you through more complicated patterns using our proven teaching techniques, and our own instruction textbook. We'll furnish everything, as usual. You can use our vise and tools, materials will be furnished and we'll even spring for lunch.

You will learn to tie the Parachute Adams which will allow you to tie many other parachute patterns simply by changing the colors of the materials.

The Light Cahill is an excellent dry fly and colors can also be changed to mimic different mayfly species.

You'll learn to tie the Prince Nymph and Bead Head Pheasant Tail which are two fo the most productive nymph patterns ever designed.

The Yellow Stimulator is one of the most productive dry flies in the Smokies. It makes a good imitation of the little Yellow Sally Stonefly in size #16. Once you master it, you can tie them is size #18 up to #8 so you've got imitations of tiny stoneflies up to salmonflies.
