We have been selling and using reels from these manufacturers for many years. Abel and Ross date back to the old days for us in the early 90's. We added Orvis and Waterworks Lamson later.
Orvis makes and sells excellent reels at a reasonable price. "Orvis" and "Value" are often found in the same sentence. You can buy an Orvis Encounter Large Arbor Reel for as low as $49. Or, you can pay up to $515 for a Mirage, their top of the line. In between those two price points are the Hydros Large Arbor, Access Mid-Arbor, CFO, Battenkill Bar Stock and the new Clearwater Large Arbor Reels. In the Orvis lineup you can find anything you want or need.
Waterworks Lamson make some great introductory level reels called the Konic for $129. These reels are very popular. From there you can step up to the Guru, the Litespeed, the Velocity, Force SL, ULA or the top end Vanquish. These are all fine fly fishing reels.
Ross has been selling reels to us since day one. In this lineup you will find the Flyrise starting at $100 and moving up to the CLA, Evolution, Vexis, Momentum LT and the new F1, the reel that sets the new standard.
We sell the Abel TR Trout Reels online. These are excellent click & pawl reels and they are beautiful. We can special order any other Abel reels for you and get them quick.
