Perfect for a 7, 8 or 9 weight. Made for salmon, redfish, bonefish, large and smallmouth bass, stripers and just about anything you can think of that you would fish for with a 7, 8 or 9 weight. The Tibor series of reels were first introduced in 1995 and have established themselves as the benchmark for custom-crafted fly reels. After years of development and input from the likes of Lefty Kreh and Flip Pallot the Tibor Company was finally satisfied that these reels set a new standard in fly fishing reel technology. The spool's large arbor design significantly enhances the rate of line retrieval which is critical when you're trying to control speedsters. An impregnated cork drag disc is the smoothest and strongest in the industry. The Detented drag adjustment is smooth and positive. These Large Arbor Reels are proudly made in the United States. The Everglades weighs 8.5 ounces and has a diameter of 3 3/4". It will hold 200 yards of 20# backing with a WF 8 weight line. These reels are available in Black, Gold or several other special order colors. The price includes a custom engraved nameplate. Custom engraving is also available.
