Copper John with Rubber Legs

The Copper John, invented by John Barr arrived on the fly fishing scene recently and became an immediate success. Now, we have a newer adaptation, the Copper John with Rubber Legs. This year round fly works well in the Smoky Mountains, Southern Appalachians and in all freestone trout streams.

The bead and copper wire gives the fly plenty of weight and a glimmer of light reflected by these metallic materials. The flashback wing case adds more light reflection to the fly. And, with the movement of the rubber legs, this fly has many features that have proven to be successful for fly anglers. It’s a good one.
