This Rio MainStream Fly Line is designed to optimize rod performance at normal casting ranges. The MainStream floating lines have a supple self-lubricating coating that remains memory-free in cold water.

This line sells well at Little River Outfitters due to the price vs performance value. This line will not perform as well as a $75 fly line, it does not have the same new technology features. But, for a $40 price tag this line is fine for many fishing conditions. The Rio Mainstream is great for beginners who are not sure if fly fishing is going to be a life-long sport. Or maybe you don’t plan to fish often. We do sell plenty of these fly lines and we have not heard any complaints from customers.
