Scientific Anglers Mastery Bass Bug Fly Line

The Scientific Anglers Mastery Bass Bug Line is for all you warmwater fly fishermen who target big largemouth bass. That is not to say it won't work well for other warmwater species too. This line is made to cast big poppers and bugs into the wind or fishing on calm days. The head turns over big flies. And, it is made for warm water or even very warm water like you find in the South where those big bucketmouth bass live. The line won’t turn soft on you in the heat.

We stock this line in sizes 6, 7 and 8. If you want a heavier line, say a 9 or 10, we will special order it for you. That takes about a week.

This line features most of the technological features found in other Mastery fly lines. It does not have the Dry Tip Technology. It doesn’t need it. But it is slick, has the streamlined loops and the new SA ID that indicates the line weight and other information right on the line.
