Lightning Strike Football Strike Indicators with pegs are inexpensive and re-usable. They float very well and are very visible. They are light and aerodynamic making them easy to cast.

Lightning Strike Football Indicators with pegs do require that you put them on the leader with your fly removed. Simply thread your leader through the indicator and tie on your fly. Place your indicator where you want it and insert the peg. The indicator will stay where you placed it. Remove the peg and move the indicator up or down.

Lightning Strike Football Indicators are available in 3 sizes, Small 1/2”, Medium 3/4” and Large 7/8". Colors are: FL Orange, FL Yellow, FL Pink and Bi-Visible.

Everything has a disadvantage. Sometimes, using a strike indicator with a peg can lead to a tangle. The peg can catch your leader. We have used this system many times with great success. But, that tangle problem still exists occasionally.
