Waterworks Lamson Speedster Reels

Here is a new fly reel to get really excited about, the Speedster from Waterworks Lamson. The makers call it a Super Arbor. We call it a Super Reel. The Speedster is a large arbor reel. It is different from others. The Speedster is slimmer. Many large arbor reels are wide to accommodate a fly line and adequate backing for the line weight you are fishing. The Speedster has a larger diameter instead of being wide. They just look better on a rod. The Speedster will crank in fly line and backing fast and with the smooth feel and soft sound that Waterworks Lamson is known for. It has the same drag that you find on all of their reels. But, there is something better, something that is hard to identify.

The Speedster is light. Look at the porting and machining. The Hard Alox finish is superb with almost no glare. The color is magnificent. This is truly a new model, different from most any reel you will find on the market. This is one fine fly reel.
