Very nice, Hans! I would love to fish Sweden!

Yes Sweden probably has better opportunities than where this picture came from. This fish was caught in Finland. I was born in Sweden, mom is from Finland, hence our trip there, it's all confusing lol.

Beautiful fish. Did you catch the grayling on a dry?

I have caught grayling in Alaska, but nowhere else. In Alaska, they loved hitting dry flies.

It was on a Red Tag wet, old English pattern.

Did you catch the grayling on a dry?

From personal experience I can assure you that Mr. George Edward MacKenzie Skues (aka Tennswede) does not fish with dries....

Funny you should say that Mr. Halford or do you prefer Gordon? I just received Paul Schullery's compilation of Skues writings "Skues on Trout". I will be deadly now. LOL.

Missed you on the HI last Sunday. Didn't make it to Tellico due to sinus problems on Saturday. Did catch a nice brown and a very nice bow, lost another Brown pushing 13". I think the HI might pick up if the poachers leave it alone. Call me when you get a chance.
